Meet Our Teachers

When I walked through the doors of Our Lady Perpetual Help, there was an instant feeling of welcome and a strong sense of community.  I am honoured to be the new Principal of Our Lady’s and am excited to get to know all our families.

I have been in teaching for a long time and I feel privileged to be in the education sector.   Outside of work I enjoy travel, playing golf and spending time with family and friends.  I’m a keen Tigers supporter and enjoy going to the MCG .

I joined Our Lady’s in 2017 and immediately felt at home.  The staff, students and families were welcoming and immediately made me feel that I belonged.  I love how the students are accepting of everyone.  Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, walking and reading a book.

Our school is a wonderful place to work. We strive to create a happy, safe environment for all students to learn in. The staff work collaboratively in teams. My role is exciting in that I work with all teaching teams to support them in the teaching and learning of English.

After thirty years of teaching, the students, working in partnership with parents, smiles and those ‘light bulb’ moments when new learning is understood, are still a few of my favourite things. Outside of school; my husband, my four beautiful children, reading and mathematics, are the loves of my life!

I love working with children and I get excited when they realise they know something new, like reading or writing, for the first time. At home I like to spend time with my three children.

I love working with the Junior Level students.  It is always wonderful to see the students learn and grow through these new experiences!

I work in the office and my job here is to welcome you to our school and assist you with your daily questions. I love to have a chat and get to know our families.
At home I like to walk my dog, watch movies and relax with my family.

I have worked in education support for 14 years now and love being part of the Our Lady’s community. As part of the Office Administration team, I am lucky enough to engage with the children and their families, the Parish community and a professional and dedicated staffing body.

Working at Our Lady’s, I count myself very lucky! Not only do I get to follow my passion of teaching, I am also greatly supported by a wonderful school community.

Outside of school, I love to spend time creating arts/crafts or barracking for the Tigers surrounded by family and friends.

Our Lady’s is such a supportive community where everyone matters. I love working in the Junior Level and seeing the creativity and talents of all my students grow and change throughout the year. Outside of school I love to spend time with my family and my dogs.

What I love most about teaching is being able to help and watch students grow academically and holistically. I enjoy the enthusiasm and energy the Middle students bring each day. Outside of school, I enjoy camping, craft and spending time with my family and friends.

I am filled with immense joy and gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of this incredible community. The students’ enthusiasm for learning and their genuine curiosity inspire me every day. The supportive and collaborative environment created by the staff and families, allows me to thrive and make a positive impact on the lives of these young learners. Outside of school, I enjoy all things arts & crafts, spending time with my family, and competing in the local dart team.

I enjoy working in the Senior Level because it’s such a great year to watch the students become independent learners and work together to problem solve. In my spare time I love spending time with my son, shopping and catching up with family.

I love working at Our Lady’s because I get to work with a great bunch of children every day. One thing I love doing outside of school is spending time with my family and dogs.

I feel very privileged to be a part of the Our Lady’s community as both staff and families have been so welcoming. I look forward to getting to know everyone better and being a part of all the wonderful learning that is taking place. Outside of school I enjoy playing netball and catching up with family and friends.

I love my job! I love working with the children at our school and the joy they greet me with each day. I enjoy providing them with sporting opportunities and working with them in and out of the classroom.

I have the dream job! I love teaching Visual Arts. Students get to explore new ways of creating art and learn to appreciate and reflect on their own artwork and that of others. It is a stress free time where students can be proud of their achievements.

I love working with the staff and students at Our Lady’s School, we are all very dedicated and really enjoy working with our special students. The students are very respectful towards each other and it’s so rewarding watching the students achieve their learning goals.

I love seeing the students using their own initiative when presenting their ideas. I love seeing their enthusiasm.
Outside of school I love to spend time with my family and play team sports with them. I love playing instruments and going to different places.
