I am extremely privileged to be the Principal at Our Lady’s School. I thoroughly enjoy engaging with the staff, parents and students to promote a sense of community and partnership in learning.

My passions outside of school are family (father of three!), gardening and watching the mighty Tigers!

I joined Our Lady’s in 2017 and immediately felt at home.  The staff, students and families were welcoming and immediately made me feel that I belonged.  I love how the students are accepting of everyone.  Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family, walking and reading a book.

I work in the office and my job here is to welcome you to our school and assist you with your daily questions. I love to have a chat and get to know our families.
At home I like to walk my dog, watch movies and relax with my family.

Our school is a wonderful place to work. We strive to create a happy, safe environment for all students to learn in. The staff work collaboratively in teams. My role is exciting in that I work with all teaching teams to support them in the teaching and learning of English.

My roles at our school are diverse to say the least! I love teaching across the school and get so much pleasure when students take ownership of their learning and recognise successes in so many ways.
Outside of school, my teenage children are the love of my life.

It is a pleasure to work at Our Lady’s School. I especially enjoy watching the way the children engage with their learning. When the children have that ‘Ah Ha!’ moment, it is priceless to be a part of that. Outside of school means lots of reading, walks, talks and spending precious time with the family.

Prep is amazing! The classroom oozes a love of learning and involves lots of hands on activities, movement, laughter and creativity. Our Lady’s has a wonderful sense of community. Everyone is welcome and everyone belongs.

The thing I love most about teaching is seeing the joy on a child’s face when they have learnt something new. I really enjoy the collegial aspect of working in a shared space with the Middle Level teachers. Outside school, I like spending time with my wife and three children.

I love watching and supporting students develop in their learning and also in their character. I enjoy having a bit of fun with the students and building relationships with them.

Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband, going on hikes, and being creative with craft (making earrings).

Working at Our Lady’s, I count myself very lucky! Not only do I get to follow my passion of teaching, I am also greatly supported by a wonderful school community.

I love working with the Senior Level students. There are so many opportunities for them to try different things, like term leadership, going away for school camp and preparing to transition to secondary school. It is always wonderful to see the students learn and grow through these new experiences!

I love working with the Senior students. It is such a blessing to watch as young people develop and become the independent, capable and confident people they were created to be.

Working with a mix of adults and children is what I love most about my job. What is amazing is the incredible outlook a child’s perspective can give you, as well as the mentoring and support fellow staff members can provide. I love it when the children bring the inner child out of me!

I love my job! I love working with the children at our school and the joy they greet me with each day. I enjoy providing them with sporting opportunities and working with them in and out of the classroom.

I have the dream job! I love teaching Visual Arts. Students get to explore new ways of creating art and learn to appreciate and reflect on their own artwork and that of others. It is a stress free time where students can be proud of their achievements.

I love speaking Italian, my first language and teaching the students songs, games and learning to read and write in Italian. Identity is major part of our being and I want the children to embrace their own culture whilst learning about Italian traditions and customs. I like socialising and volunteering.

The best thing about Our Lady’s School is its diversity. I love working with so many wonderful families and students every day. At home I love to walk, cycle and share time with my family.

I’ve been a teacher at Our Lady’s for many years and love our welcoming, diverse community. In my roles, I  am privileged to work closely with both the students and families – relationships are what it’s all about!
